Diane’s professional travel knowledge includes not only participating in travel related training, seminars, conferences and certifications but also first-hand travel experiences. Diane has been traveling the world since the late 1970’s.  She has sailed on more than 65 cruises aboard 22 different cruise lines including mass market, mega ships, premium, luxury and river cruises. She has traveled on cruises and land tour packages to six different continents.  She hopes to complete her world journey by traveling to Antarctica in the near future.  Some of the most interesting countries and destinations Diane has traveled to include China, South Africa, Israel, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Brazil, Ecuador and the Galapagos, Iceland, Russia, South Pacific, and Southeast Asia.

Diane is a Certified Travel Associate and holds the certification of Elite Cruise Counsellor Scholar – the highest certification offered by Cruise Lines International Association. She is a Destination Specialist for the Caribbean and Alaska and is a Lifestyle Specialist for Honeymoons and Wedding Destinations.

Diane has been a travel professional for over 18 years. River and Small Ship Cruising is a division of Cruises Come True, LLC which she has owned and managed since 2003 having purchased the business which was established in 1996.

Diane is a firm believer in education and professional travel knowledge. She has achieved the designation of Certified Travel Associate (CTA) from the Travel Institute; Elite Cruise Counselor Scholar (ECCS) from Cruise Line International Association (CLIA) the highest certification level offered by CLIA. She is also a Luxury Cruise Specialist (LCS)as well as Destination Specialist (DS) for both Alaska and the Caribbean from the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). She is also a Lifestyle Specialist for Honeymoons and Wedding Destinations. She is an Accredited Travel Agent with IATA, a member of Cruise Line International Association (CLIA), and a member of Professional Travel Agents of North America, MD Chapter (PTANA), and a member of BonsVivants of Baltimore.

Diane has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management from the University of Maryland. She retired from government after 31 years of service and was working both as a travel professional and government employee for five of those years. Since government retirement she has been devoting her time to her passion…traveling and assisting others with travel plans.

She has traveled to more than 75 countries on 6 continents. She has experienced over 65 cruises on 22 different cruise lines including luxury and river cruises, premium and mass market cruises.
